Discover Your Diagnosis

No matter how advanced technology becomes, listening to you, the patient, and performing a physical exam will always be the basis for diagnosis. MRI, CT scans, and X-rays provide additional information that help confirm your diagnosis and guide your treatment plan. If you have X-rays, CTs, and/or MRIs, we will display them on a monitor and carefully explain any findings.

Know Your Spine

Finding useful information about spinal problems can be difficult. Below are excellent websites created by well-respected, national organizations to help educate patients about their spines.

PREPARING FOR SURGERY

  • Our surgical coordinator will guide you through this process step by step.

  • Write down your questions so that you don't forget them!

  • Bring family or a friend with you to pre-operative appointments.

From the first time I met him, the comfort and trust I felt with Dr. Buraimoh, cannot be overstated. I probably put off back surgery 10 years from when it first could have been considered, and by the time I saw him, I walked like an 80 year old hobbled person. Six months, two discs removed and a fusion, and I am back mountain biking 3-4 times a week, hiking, able to touch my toes, and about to start yoga regularly again, while greatly anticipating next winter's ski season. Also, Dr. Buraimoh sent me to physical therapy at a place that is geared to athletes, True Sports, instead of just gentle rehab. If there were more stars to give, I would gladly give them. I cannot be more appreciative of the great job he's done as a surgeon, and what a pleasure of a human being he is, as well. Thank you sir!!!!

Andrew
